What is the difference between standalone processors and redundant processor of Modicon M580?
Standalone processors are normal processor if the CPU fails, the system will down, while the redundant processor are set of CPUs installed on two different racks having identical configuration.
If there is any issue in the main rack, the system will switchover to the standby rack to achieve high availability of the system.
