What is the cause of SoMove error 1006 connected to the ATV320 drive?

Issue:
SoMove error 1006 on SoMove Software while connecting to the ATV320 drive

Product Line:
ATV320

Environment:
All serial numbers

Cause:
Customer could not connect to the ATV320 drive using SoMove Software getting error 1006.

Resolution:

Error 1006 indicates an invalid configuration file. This typically occurs when the ATV320 DTM is not installed in SoMove, or when the imported SoMove PSX file does not match the drive configuration (for example, the drive part number, firmware version, or installed option card).

Please verify that the ATV320 DTM is installed by downloading and installing it from the following link:

https://www.se.com/us/en/download/document/ATV320_DTM_Library/

If the drive is equipped with an option card, please ensure that the card is properly seated. You can try removing and reinstalling the option card to verify a secure connection.

Additionally, when uploading or downloading a SoMove configuration file, make sure that the drive part number, firmware version, and option card configuration match the target drive. A mismatch in any of these parameters can result in Error 1006.
