ความแตกต่างระหว่างเบรกเกอร์ RCCB และ ELCB

ELCB หรือ Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker

ทำหน้าที่ตรวจจับกระแสรั่วไหล โดยวันแรงดันที่รั่วไหลลงดิน ซึ่งจะตรวจจับกระแสไฟฟ้าที่ไหลย้อนกลับจากหลักดินเท่านั้น ดังนั้น ELCB จึงทำงานจากกระแสรั่วลงดินด้วยการวัดแรงดันเทียบกับดิน ถ้าแรงดันไฟฟ้าไม่เท่ากับ 0 หมายถึงมีกระแสรั่วลงดิน

RCCB หรือ Residual current Circuit Breaker

ทำหน้าที่ตรวจจับรั่วโดยไม่จำเป็นต้องต่อเข้ากับสายดิน เนื่องจากเป็นการวัดกระแสระหว่าง Line และ Neutral ที่มีความต่างกัน
