Can I use the READ_REMOTE EFB to read data from located or unlocated variables in a Unity Quantum PLC?
Yes. The READ_REMOTE block will read data from a remote Unity Quantum PLC that support the Data Dictionary feature In the Quantum PLC, Data dictionary must be enabled. You must also de-activating the type verification based on checksum comparison using the CTRL parameter. In the second word of the four word array variable for the CTRL, you must enter a value of 1to de-activate.Quantum PLC showing unlocated variables with data.
