How to request an upgrade code for Plant SCADA (Citect SCADA) Floating License?

Resolution:
Requesting an upgrade code for Aveva Plant SCADA (Citect SCADA) floating license.
Go to Aveva’s Gloabal Support Web Portal and login (you might need to create an account).

Once in the portal, click the “License Activation” button:
Then click the “Citect” button:
Under the “License Generator” tab, type the license Activation ID in the appropriate field and click the “Submit” button.
The information about the license will be displayed and a button “Request Version Update” will be on the righthand side. Click on it.
Fill the needed information in the request form that is displayed and click “Submit”. The upgrade code will be sent to the given email address.
To upgrade the license, you might need to install the latest version of the Floating License Manager.
Click the “Floating License Manager Download” tab at the top of the page to access the download.
