Why ELCB is tripping when using with APC Smart-UPS On-Line from 1 kVA –10 kVA

The root cause of this issue about UPS systems is the tripping of the earth leakage circuit breakers RCD / RCBO, after check inside the UPS we found some transient signals can trip the RCD or RCBO or at the input. There is no risk for the user but we recommend to use the "A-Si" and "B" type for UPS applications.
This will provide the necessary earth leakage protection and the elimination of the nuisance tripping when wired at the input side of the UPS.
