When using a SCADAPack x70 device (57x, 47x, 47xi), 6000 series expansion I/O modules can be added to the SCADAPack for additional input/outputs. These differ from the legacy 5000 series modules where firmware can be updated on the 6000 series if needed. RemoteConnect can be used to update the I/O modules.
By default, when RemoteConnect is installed, the firmware file is stored in the following directory, where x.xx.xx represents the current version:
64-bit systems: C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\RemoteConnect\Firmware\660x\x.xx.xx
Use SCADAPack RemoteConnect to transfer the .bin firmware file to the SCADAPack file system:
Where the module_address is the address of your I/O module. The I/O module address is a number from 0 to 15. The 6607 module located inside a SCADAPack 474 is always address 0.
Example: restart iofirm fw6607_Version.bin 0
