Causes and Fixes

You can configure the port that is used by the system server for client/server connection in the System Server Configuration Wizard.

Before changing the port, run netstat -ano in a command prompt on the PC on which the system server is installed. This command lists the ports that are currently in use on the PC.
Verify that the port that you want to use is not already in use.

If you change the port from its default value (TCP port 9950), you need to configure the same value for each engineering and operation client that connects to the server by using their respective Configuration Wizard.
