ION Enterprise Designer Hangs If Diagram Closed During Communication

Summary

If a diagram is closed while Designer is trying to communicate with the associated node, Designer may hang.

Causes and Fixes

Shut down the Designer using the Task Manager. Normal behavior will be restored when Designer is restarted.
