What are the details for the Remote Display that is supported with EM4800 meters?

Remote display operation with EM4800 meters.

Cause
The remote display is supported only on EM4800 meters that include the remote display port. Meters with part numbers in the format METxxEM48xx... have this port, while meters with part numbers in the format E48xx...SQD do not.

Resolution

• The remote display will operate with EM4800 meters that have part numbers in the format:
  METxxEM48xx...
• The remote display is not supported with meters that have part numbers in the format:
  E48xx...SQD
• Reason: METxxEM48xx... meters include the remote display port required for operation.

Cutout Size:

• The remote display uses a 92 x 92 mm cutout.

Part Numbers for Remote Display:

• METSQEM48RD – EM4800 remote display, includes communications cable, Square D branded
• METSEEM48RD – EM4800 remote display, includes communications cable, Schneider Electric branded

Functionality:

• The remote display provides all measurements available on the onboard display.
