Upgrading ION-Enterprise to StruxureWare Power Monitoring (SPM) 7.0.1 requires the ION databases to be upgraded. If upgrading from version prior to SPM 7.0, this is a long-running operation. The new databases also require additional hard drive space.

Note that the numbers given in the attached document in regards to drive size requirements for upgrade and final upgraded database size are based on internal tests only. These numbers may be adjusted in response to results from field upgrades. It's always best to err on the side of caution and provide much more space than is currently recommended.
