There are a couple solutions to this issue.
Method 1) Create a new device with a shorter name and use http://www.powerlogic.com/kbarticle.cfm?myrequest=RESL189159 to assign the old data to the new meter.
Method 2) Enable the query-based workflow by unhiding the Template worksheet and setting USEDEFAULTCONFIGVIEW to 0. Next, choose the logs to query, and the name chosen for the query will become the worksheet name. To do this do the following:
a) Browse to ...IONEnterprise\config\reports and open the report in question.
b) Go to Format > Sheet > Unhide
c) Make sure that the USEDEFAULTCONFIGVIEW is set to 0.
d) Save, exit, and try the report again.
