To repair this ETG30xx from USB key we have to retrieve the initial APP.out from the ETG30xx V1.50 Official Release.
Here is an overview of the procedure :
1. Copy the original APP.out of the V1.50 (Official Release) in the directory \FLASH0\FW of the USB key
2. Connect the USB key
3. Power Off/On the ETG
4. Extract the USB key (don't Power Off/On)
5. Upgrade to the V1.60 IR02 (Official Release)
6. Upgrade to the V1.60 IR04
At the end, the ETG module reboots automatically and starts normally.
Here are some more details about the procedure :
1. Copy the original APP.out of the V1.50 (Official Release) in the directory \FLASH0\FW of the USB key :
Create a directory \FLASH0\FW on USB directly on the root.
Copy in this directory one file named APP.out (of the V1.50 Official Release)
The right file is on CD-ROM of Web designer V2.34
*) provided with your ETG V1.50 module in directory : \Firmware Upgrade\FLASH0\FW
*) or available on the schneider-electric.com (*)
2. Connect the USB key on the ETG
3. Power Off/On the ETG
All LEDS will blink during few seconds.
DO NOT POWER BREAK DURING this PHASE
At the end, LED stop the blinking.
4. Extract the USB key (don't Power Off/On)
5. Upgrade to the V1.60 IR02 (Official Release)
See readme.txt (chapter 4, 1st step) of Web Designer Software V2.44 for TSXETG30xx V1.60 available on the schneider-electric.com (*) :
"In the Install CD, go in the folder /Firmware Upgrade
Launch the following 'dos command':
upgrade <IP_address_of_the_module>
New files will be copied using FTP on your module.
(WARNING: TAKE CARE TO NOT INTERRUPT THE TRANSFER OR POWER OFF THE
GATEWAY BEFORE THE END OF THIS PROCEDURE (END OF LED FLASHING)
AND DON’T TRY TO UPDATE SEVERAL MODULES SIMULTANEOUSLY)
After the operation, the module will reboot automatically"
6. Upgrade to the V1.60 IR04
See readme.txt of TSXETG30xxV1.60 IR04 (*)
"1- unzip the file UpgradeFw.zip
2- execute upgrade.bat
3- Type IP address of ETG at the prompt
4- Wait the end of transfer
5- Wait the end of reboot module"
At the end, the ETG module starts normally in V1.60 IR04.
