- We use the Position Square rod 04691466 ONLY to keep the cam in right place and position inside the kit 87630 while in transit. But once the interlock mechanism is fully assembled in the drawer the cam takes the position by the device shaft itself.
- So, no need to preserve the square rod once after the interlock mechanism is assembled in the drawer. No functionality requirement of this part in the mechanism
- For any future requirements of this part during replacement of device or its shaft, please arrange to keep the position square in the service tool kit box in the electrical room as shown in the figure below
- The picture illustration in the Mounting guide available in Okken DVD2013 may be misleading and the possibility to store this part in the mechanism housing is no longer available.
For future use, it is not recommended to fix the position square 04691466 to any part of interlock mechanism or the drawer using the cable ties or by any other mean once after the interlock mechanism is assembled in the drawer as it may malfunction the breaker interlocking mechanism.
So, follow the storage recommendration as mentioned above.
