Issue:
The IFE firmware update using RSU does not complete due to a technical limitation. The user will have two choices to update the firmware

1. Use Ecoreach, a newer tool that manages the update in one click
   Firmware update in Ecoreach allows to up-grade both the executable binary component and webpage/device supporting files in one step. This firmware UI reuses the RSU UI but has another mechanism behind it to complete the actions.
2. Use RSU and FTP to complete two steps for the update to be successful.
   RSU can be used to update the binary file.  For more information, refer to the RSU Online Help.
   Refer to the IFE user manual version 1040IB1401-02 05/2015 on page 29 in section "Updating the Webpages and Device Supporting Files Using FTP"for the steps to update via FTP

Cause:
The IFE consists of two types of components :
- the executable binary component
- the webpage and device supporting files (Data file)

RSU version 13.2.2, 13.3.2 and 14.0.0 can be used to update the executable binary component. (VegaIFE_Vx.y.z_Release.s19 file type).
The webpage and device supporting files component must be upgraded by FTP.

Resolution
Update the IFE firmware with either EcoStruxure Power Commission (EPC). or RSU and FTP together
