There are three files that are important to connect as equal or without forcing you to re-download a SoMachine 4.1 project. They are .bootinfo, .bootinfo_guids and .compileinfo.
1. These files are generated when you Login for the first time to the PLC and the boot application is created.
2. These files will change in the following situations:
- you make a change to the code and you execute Online / Create boot application or execute Multiple download / Always perform full download.
- you execute Build / Clean or Clean all and you execute Online / Create boot application or execute Multiple download / Always perform full download. This happens because Build / Clean or Clean all deletes those three files
3. If you execute a File / Source download, it is important to do it after those three files were generated. If asked, select the option to include them in the source download files.
4. Alternatively you can create an archive by going to the SoMachine Central screen / Top-Left Green wheel / Save Project as... / Save Archive after those three files were generated. Opening the archive at a later time will ensure that those files are kept together and that a connection without download is possible.
5. For a particular project you can automate the source download. The option is available under the Logic Builder / Project / Project Settings / Source Download / Timing
