some user found the communication speed of NOE and NOC is different. E.g. download same application to PLC by Quantum NOE is faster than NOC. NOC needs 2 times of NOE.
Why, the reasons as following
(1) NOC78100 has router which is implemented in f/w => because of this feature (weather enabled or disabled) we take performance hit
(2) Bandwidth limitations => ports have bandwidth limitation to protect the system, which also causes download speed to slow.
You must remember that the NOC and the NOE are not the same type of module. The NOC has both MB TCP/IP as well as EIP and therefore has many more feature built into the code base.
