Power Monitoring Expert (PME) 8.0 - Cumulative Update 1 (CU1)

Issue

Power Monitoring Expert 8.0 systems without Cumulative Update 1 (CU1) may experience the following issues:

1. Potential for extremely slow on-board data log retrieval performance, risk of data loss if not managed before onboard data log is overwritten.  Only related to the following devices (CM3000, CM4000, PM800, Micrologic, Compact NSX) when multiple devices are attached with serial daisy chains (Direct or gateway).

2. Report Subscriptions relative date ranges may not get processed correctly.

3. Inability to use the VIP to log 3300 ACM data

Resolution
**Note: All DVDs shipped from the factory after January 4th, 2016 will include this CU1 - December 2015 on the DVD.  Any DVD's shipped prior will require this CU1 - December 2015 download.

It is recommended to install PME8 CU1 for the following offers:

• Power Monitoring Expert 8.0
• Power Monitoring Expert 8.0 - Data Center Edition
• Power Monitoring Expert 8.0 - Healthcare Edition
• Power Monitoring Expert 8.0 - Buildings Edition

It should be installed against the following install types:

• Standalone Primary
• Primary with Distributed Database Server (Does not need to be installed against Database Server itself)
• Secondard Server
• Engineering Client

Install the attached update by following the procedure below:

1. Extract the attached file 'PME_8.0_Cumulative_Update_1_Dec_2015.exe.zip'.
2. Run the installation package.
3. Follow the on-screen setup procedures and ensure that the verification of the system is successful.
4. Once the configuration is complete, you may close setup window. The CU1 update is now installed.
