The HMIG5U has a maximum operating environment temperature of 60 degrees Celcius.
When the HMIG5U is used in an operating environment temperature greater than what it is rated for, the following occurs:
at 65 degrees Celcius, the screen brightness becomes a little dark
at 70 degrees Celcius, the screen brightness becomes even more dark
at 75 degrees Celcius, the screen brightness is completely dark
at 80 degrees Celcius, thermal shutdown occurs.
