Is there an averaging block for an analog signal?
Issue
Using Concept, Unity Pro or Control Expert is there a block that can be used for a moving average?
Product line
Concept, Unity Pro, Control Expert
Resolution
The AVGMV or AVGMV_K blocks could be used. They take in a REAL input and allow the user to define the number of scans that will buffer before averaging. If the analog signal is not REAL, use standard conversion blocks such as W_INT_REAL and REAL_TO_WORD.
These blocks are part of the included CONT_CTL library and not a library that needs to be installed separately.
