DTE - Device Type Editor
Issue
The new devices created with DTE are not loading and you will see error messages in the System Log:
"Translator map file 'DEVICE_NAME.xml' not loaded due to previous error. Will retry."
"The attribute 'TimestampedByPlugin' on this element is not defined in the DTD/Schema." - (or some other attribute as well)
Cause
The modbus-schema.xml file in the config/translator folder is an old version and does not contain the specific attribute referred by the error log.
Resolution
Replace the modbus-schema.xml file in config/translator with the one from system/translator folder or from a healthy PME system.
