Resolution:
Step1: Download
Download latest version of ECOSTRUXURE POWER BUILD - RAPSODY to your local computer. For your version, look at your local SE.com website Access here
Step2: Minimum Configuration
ECOSTRUXURE POWER BUILD - RAPSODY requires the following minimum Computer configuration
- Windows 10
- Processor: Intel Core i3 & above
- Memory: Minimum 4GB RAM
- Screen resolution : 1280 * 768
- Internet Explorer 11.0 or Google Chrome latest version (mandatory for Login step)
- Adobe Pdf or Do Pdf software installed (required for SLD Print, potential issue with Microsoft Print to PDF)
- Internet access at the time of installation and registration
Step3: Preparation for installation
- Your administrator rights are no longer required on the computer to install ECOSTRUXURE POWER BUILD - RAPSODY
- Internet Access is active
Step4: Installation & First Run
- Install ECOSTRUXURE POWER BUILD - RAPSODY using the installer downloaded in step 1
- Do not modify the default installation folder path.
- If all the above prerequisites of minimum configuration and preparation are met then, installation will be successful, and you will have ECOSTRUXURE POWER BUILD - RAPSODY icon on your desktop.
- Once the above step is complete, double-click on the icon
- You will be presented with a login page if all the steps have been correctly followed.
- Explanation:
- Ecostruxure Power Build - Rapsody must connect to Schneider servers in Schneider Data Centers to perform secure Authentication.
- If an Antivirus application (Symantec, Avast, BitDefender, McAfee, Eset, Webroot) has very restrictive settings it will block ECOSTRUXURE POWER BUILD - Rapsody from connecting to Schneider Authentication servers & sometimes quarantine files like "logintNG.dll"
- Recommendation:
Prepare Antivirus Software / Firewall / Intrusion Prevention to allow ECOSTRUXURE POWER BUILD - RAPSODY to be installed - Please ask IT administrator to do following -

- Allow ports 80 & 443 to be open from EcoStruxure Power Build - RAPSODY
- Whitelist EcoStruxure Power Build - RAPSODY in the Antivirus /Firewall/ Intrusion Prevention application
- Whitelist the following folders:
- C:\Schneider Electric\EcoStruxure Power Build - Rapsody Common
- C:\Schneider Electric\EcoStruxure Power Build - RAPSODY xx\
- C:\Users\XXXX\Documents\EcoStruxure Power Build – RAPSODY xx
Step5: Registration & Login
- If you are a new user of ECOSTRUXURE POWER BUILD - RAPSODY, please register using the register link on the Registration and Login page
