Can we put several coils in parallel in the middle of one ladder line and place contacts after them?
EcoStruxure Control Expert / Any Unity Version Although inserting a contact after coils is not recommended a per PLC Open IEC 61131 programming guiding rule 6.3.1, it is supported when you untick the “Right-justify coils” in the option.
But be aware to prevent short cutting the top line of the parallel coils, which in consequence might give rise to the unexpected logic results on the coils to the end.
The proper way is to remove the short circuit on top line of the parallel coils to make the logic execution consistently.
