Issue
In some cases, the user need to move his Ecostruxure Machine SCADA expert license to a new computer.
With Ecostruxure Machine SCADA expert, the license is linked to the site code of the computer, so the license cannot be moved by just a simple action.
The following FAQ will shows how to transfert the "soft key" license to "hard key" liense with Ecostruxure Machine SCADA Expert

Resolution
For each step asking to send email, this is done using the SiteKeyLicense.Support@schneider-electric.com email address.
Please follow the steps below:
Step 1:
Close all modules from Ecostruxure Machine SCADA expert  (development and runtime)
Run the "Register" module from "[Windows Start Button] > All Programs > Ecostruxure Machine SCADA Expert > Ecostruxure Machine SCADA Expert Register"
Change the license method (radio button) to "Softkey" and click on the "Check" button (just hit OK to the message warning you that it will change the license method).
Click on the "Change License" button
Copy the code from the "Site Code" field and send it by email

After receiving your email, I will generate a code (Site Key) and send it back by email. Then, you just need to follow the steps below:
Close all modules from Ecostruxure Machine SCADA Expert (development and runtime)
Run the "Register" module from "[Windows Start Button] > All Programs > Ecostruxure Machine SCADA Expert >Ecostruxure Machine SCADA Expert Register"
Click on the "Change License" button
Copy the code (Site Key)  that I send to you and paste it in the "Site Key" field-
Click on the "Authorize" button.

Step 2 : Repeat Step 1. This 2nd site code will give me a kill code to authorize to move the license.

Step 3: Generate site code from the machine:
Close all modules from Ecostruxure Machine SCADA Expert (development and runtime)
Run the "Register" module from "[Windows Start Button] > All Programs > Ecostruxure Machine SCADA Expert >Ecostruxure Machine SCADA Expert Register"
Change the license method (radio button) to “Softkey”  and click on the "Check" button (just hit OK to the message warning you that it will change the license method).
Click on the "Change License" button
Copy the code from the "Site Code" field and send it by email
After receiving your email, another code will generated (Site Key) and send it back by email. Then,  follow the steps below:
Close all modules from Ecostruxure Machine SCADA Expert (development and runtime)
Run the "Register" module from "[Windows Start Button] > All Programs > Ecostruxure Machine SCADA Expert >Ecostruxure Machine SCADA Expert Register"
Click on the "Change License" button
Copy the code that we will send to you and paste it in the "Site Key" field
Click on the "Authorize" button.
