1. Issue

Recently we found an issue in UMAC 3.17 that after when Unity Pro/ECE V14.1 opens the converted application, a Syntax error occurs shown as below snapshot. Then all the sections which named in Chinese characters can’t be imported and need to be renamed.

So how to property import the section in this situation?

4. Resolution

Below is a workaround, please refer.
1> Unzip the program.zef file
2> Open the Unitpro.xef with a text editor like notepad
3> Find this line <entryvalue ident="unity.CharSet" value="2" /> and set the value to 2 (2 is for Unicode)
4> Zip the files again and rename the zip file with zef
5> Now you can open in Control Expert.
