How to reduce motor noise when driven by an ATV320?

The motor is quite noisy while running

Cause:
ATV320 is creating too much motor noise.
Resolution:
Options include:
Set noise reduction (nrd) to yes. This creates a random frequency modulation which helps prevent a resonance.
Conf > FuLL > drC- > nrd = YES
Increase the switching frequency (SFr). This may also increase the heat generated by the drive.
Conf > FuLL > drC- > SFr: (there is a range between 2 to 16kHz depending on the drive size).
Consider mounting characteristics to a machine. Use mechanical joints (silent block) between the motor and the frame of the machine. It will help to suppress low frequency vibrations.
