Using Harmony P6 iPC, to share folders with other PCs is not as easier as legacy.
This is due to Cyber security improvement.
It may occur that the Private network doesn’t allow to access to folders located on the Harmony P6 from other PCs.
This FAQ concerns Harmony P6 iPC, Windows 10
The configuration we validated in this FAQ is:
-To create a Private Network between Harmony P6 and HMIG5U22 to share folders located on both PCs,
-HMIG5U22 is tested as sample, the issue may occur with other PCs,
-Both PCs are Windows10 based,
-Legacy configuration to sharing is to create Private Network and to set this Network as visible and accessible from each other PC of the network. All folders correctly shared on each PC should be accessible from the other PC.
-During our test, at this level of configuration the HMIG5U22 can see the Harmony P6 on the Network but the issue is: the folder located on the Harmony P6, and to share, with HMIG5U22 is not seen.
-According to Windows Support website* we did some modification into Services as following and this is the workaround, we suggest to you:
- To access to ‘Run’ dialog box by typing ‘Windows Logo Key + R’
- Into ‘Run’ dialog box, to type ‘Services.msc’ then you access to Services
-To check and modify 4 Services: To Start them and in General/Startup type -> to set to ‘Automatic'

3-Function Discovery Provider Host
4-Function Discovery Resource Publication
After that you have to restart both PCs and by navigators you can see all the Private Network with both PCs visible and accessible from the other one.
You should probably to enter some security parameter to log each user and this is the normal way.
As result, folders are now fully shared.
