How to activate the floating license without an Internet connection.

The floating license can be activated using the alternate method shown in the following steps,   if the PC does not have an Internet connection.

• Open the 'floating License Manager'.
• Click on 'Activate'.

• Click on 'Use another activation method'.

• Read and follow the instructions that appears in order to get the floating license activated.
• Click on Next.

• Enter the Activation ID.
• Select the 'Usage Rights'
• Select the number of seats to be used
• Click on Next.

• Enter a path to save the activation request xml file.
• Click on Next.
• Read the 'How to Continue' instructions.

• Transfer the activation Request file to a PC that has an Internet connection. (Do not shutdown the PC or close the 'Floating License Manager' window.)
• Open a web browser.
• Navigate to the url https://se.com/licensing.
• Click on 'Process License Request File'.

• Browse for the ActivationRequest.xml file that was created earlier.
• Click on 'Submit'.

• Click on 'Download' to save the response file.

• Transfer the response file to a temporary folder on the PC that still has the Floating License Manager window opened.
• Click on the 'Browse' button.
• Browse for the response file.
• Click on 'Next'.

• Upon successful activation, the following window should appear.
• Click on 'Finish'.
