Problem:

Every project within the Eclipse workspace will create its own service file in the rauc bundle. If you find multiple service files are running on your edge platform, you can delete/stop them to prevent interference.

Solution:

The unwanted services may be removed from the Edge side by deleting them, and redeploying the bundle. The default service location is as follows:

home/oecore-i686/sdk/eclipse-workspaces/default/sysroot/overlay/lib/systemd/system

Alternatively, the services may be stopped and set to not start on boot via the RTU side. To do this, SSH into the Edge platform and use the following commands as necessary:

See status

systemctl status <Name>

Start/stop service

systemctl start <Name>

systemctl stop <Name>

Enable/disable autostart at boot

systemctl enable <Name>

systemctl disable <Name>
