The EcoStruxure Transformer Sensor operates within the SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) voltage range (18-42V) and so is not covered by UL safety requirements. Nevertheless, the sensor has been designed with basic UL compliance features including fuse and MOV protection on the input power supply for over-voltage and short circuit ruggedness.
The sensor is shipped with an LV power supply (DIN Mount) which is UL certified. This power supply is UL 60950 and UL 508 compliant. See the specification attached below. Its output is ground isolated so complies with SELV requirements.
Within the sensor, a Vodafone 4G modem is installed that is certified FCC and CE compliant. See attached datasheet.
