Error: "Multiple mapping to an output is not allowed. Either the subelement or the parent already contains a mapping."
-> Product Line:
Machine Expert
-> Resolution:
Take this image as an example:
To solve the error, you have to delete the "qwIO_Out" WORD to be able to declare/write the BOOLS below.
The reason for that is for Safety Reasons:
-> If you assign a Symbol to the whole WORD of the outputs and you write like 11111111 11111111 binary to it, it will turn on all the Outputs pushing 24V on ALL the pins.
-> If you assign a Symbol just to Bit 0 (%QX0.0) of the outputs, and you set it to FALSE, then you push 0V on that Output Pin.
If you assign BOTH Symbols, what happens? It will be the last line of code that executes that "wins", but this causes unexpected behavior because the programmer may not know which line of code is first or even that BOTH writes exist.
