Unique ID Expected. Please Run Migration Tool (W1050)

Issue

After upgrading a project, I receive the error Unique ID Expected. Please Run Migration Tool (W1050).

Cause

When upgrading a project to the current Power Operation version, the project must be properly migrated. The custom included projects must also be run through the Power Operation Migration Tool. Please reference the Upgrade process for Power Operation for more information.

Unique ID's are distinct identifiers linked to equipment and variables. Unique identifiers allow for more seamless integration for future versions. Unique IDs also hold information relating to how the object should be formatted. When a Unique ID has been improperly migrated this error will be thrown.

Resolution

Confirm the project has been properly migrated as laid out in the Upgrade process.

If the problem persists or the offending object is in a project that is not a selectable project, running Repair Unique ID should fix the problem.
