Resolution

The following limitations have been found on the ProWORX 32 server.

• If the server is being used for communicating to the PLC:

The limit is 3 for connecting to the PLC via the server and 5-8 users for
connecting to the server for puts and gets at the same time that the clients
are connected to the PLC via the server.

• If the server is used only for project storage and retrieval (the server is not used for

communicating to the PLC):

No limitations on number of users simultaneously connected with
either Modbus Plus or TCP/IP other than what is allowed for the server PC's
Microsoft Windows operating system's TCP/IP connections and the Modbus Plus
Adapter card.

• Maximum number of users configured on the server:

• No limitations.
• Maximum number of projects stored on the server.

No limitations other than the hard drive free space capacity.
