How do I connect a potentiometer on an RE7CV time delay relay?

NOTE - The RE7CV is no longer available, for information regarding possible alternatives please visit the Product Substitution tool on our website: https://www.se.com/uk/en/product-substitution/. Note that RE7CV isn't a complete part number. You'll need the complete reference in order to replace it e.g. RE7CV11BU.

When using RE7CV relays with time delay adjustment potentiometers, the potentiometers must be connected in the following way:

To set the time in off-delay mode, the opposite ends of the potentiometer must be connected to  Z1 and Z2.
The potentiometer wiper is connected to Z2. See (7) below

To set the time in on-delay mode, the opposite ends of  the potentiometer must be connected to Z2 and Z3.
The potentiometer wiper is connected to Z2. See (8) below.

The potentiometer should be 47KΩ Linear Type, rated at 0.2W or greater, which are not sold by Schneider Electric.
