XY2AU is represented with three contact statuses 0, 1 and 2. What do they correspond to?
Please note - The XY2AU enabling switches are now obsolete, this FAQ is for reference only.

The enabling switch system, comprising an XY2AU enabling grip switch and an XPSVC monitoring module enables authorised staff to carry out adjustment, programming or maintenance operations near the dangerous areasof machines, provided certain conditions are met.

The XY2AU1 and XY2AU2 enabling grip switches have 3 positions:
  • Position 0 = switch not operated, released state (movement stopped),
  • Position 1 = switch pressed to start movement,
  • Position 2 = switch pressed fully in for emergency stop (gripped tightly).
Releasing the switch when it is in position 2 does not reset the movement.
