Claudia Gómez Llamas
With more than 25 years of experience in international companies in Marketing and Business Development roles, Claudia is Global Marketing Vice President for the Secure Power division in Schneider Electric. In her current role, she leads marketing strategy and execution in support of Schneider Electric’s global data center and IT infrastructure business.
In 2006, Claudia joined American Power Conversion (APC) as Marketing Manager, a company that, in 2007, would be acquired by Schneider Electric. Prior to her current position, she served as Vice President of Marketing and Inside Sales in Schneider Electric Mexico and Central America.
Under her direction and leadership, Schneider Electric has strengthened its brand leadership and digital offer, taking advantage of the global acquisition of new companies focused on the usage of the Internet of Things. From her position has supported Schneider Electric market share growth and led her team to new digital marketing strategies to address key audiences like customers, partners, buyer personas and media.
In 2018, Claudia was considered one of the Top VPs of Marketing in Mexico by InformaBTL Magazine (top tier Marketing media for B2Bs). In 2017, she was featured as one of the 50 Marketing Leaders by Merca 2.0, the most admired magazine of Marketing in Mexico. In 2012, she was named one of the 10 most relevant women in the energy sector in Mexico by Petroleo y Energia (tier media outlet in Energy). And in 2010 and 2014, she was included in the “100 most powerful women in Business in Mexico” list by CNN Expansion (business top tier magazine).
Claudia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications by the ITESM (Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey) (Mexico), a postgraduate degree in Community Marketing and Strategic Marketing by Universidad Iberoamericana (Mexico) and a leadership certificate as part of INSEAD Business School program (France). She has studied and specialized in negotiation, organizational development and digital marketing, with a strong focus on sales growth and return of investment strategies.
