What is the difference between the "interval" and "one shot" timing mode for the 9050JCK timer?
Issue:
Identifying timing functions Interval and one shot

Product Line:
Relays and Timers

Environment:
9050 Type JCK Timers

Resolution:
The way that they are initiated. The interval timer is initiated by applying power. therefore it takes a maintained contact that must be maintained at least as long as the timing period. On a one shot power is applied all the time, and the timing is initiated by closing an initiating contact for at least 40 mseconds. Therefore it can use a momentary contact.
