These larger branch breakers can ONLY be used in the CSED that shows them listed on the wiring diagram of the device.
The specific devices will be marked for a branch breaker of 200 A max. So these high amp branch breakers (HOM2150BB, HOM2175BB, and HOM2200BB) can be used in those specific CSEDs that are rated 150 A or higher.
These larger branch breakers will require 4 pole spaces for mounting.
Also, the subfeed lug kit (HOML2225) could be used on the same devices, BUT the wiring diagrams will ONLY show a 200 A maximum branch breaker, so a local code inspector may not allow the use of the subfeed lug kit because it is rated at 225 A.
NOTE: The branch circuit breaker or subfeed lug kit ampacity cannot exceed the CSED mains ampacity rating.
