The number of EZM meter branch devices is determined by the size (or maximum amperage) of the EZM main device. To determine the size of the EZM main, an overall load calculation is completed based on what the National Electrical Code allows using the diversity (or demand) factor for the maximum number of meter sockets required for the application.
NOTE: the actual physical wall space can be a limitation to the number of EZM metering branch devices.
