Combination Service Entrance Devices (CSED)

Resolution:
The factory installed main breaker can be changed to a LOWER amperage main breaker within the ampere range available for the frame size of the factory installed main breaker.
NOTE: DO NOT EXCEED THE MAX AMPERAGE RATING OF THE DEVICE OR MAX MAIN BREAKER RATING, AS MARKED ON THE LABELING IN THE DEVICE.

For 125 A max devices
If the main breaker installed in the CSED is a QOM1 frame size, the below amperages may be used:
125 A - QOM125VH
110 A - QOM110VH
100 A - QOM100VH
90 A - QOM90VH
80 A - QOM80VH
70 A - QOM70VH
60 A - QOM60VH
50 A - QOM50VH

If the main breaker installed in the CSED is an HOM2125 (for 125 A max CSEDs) or an HOM2100 (for 100 A max CSEDs), the below amperages can be used:
125 A - HOM2125 (for 125 A max CSEDs)
100 A - HOM2100
90 A - HOM290
80 A - HOM280
70 A - HOM270
60 A - HOM260
50 A - HOM250

For 225 A max devices
If the main breaker installed in the CSED is a QOM2 frame size, the below amperages may be used:
225 A - QOM2225VH
200 A - QOM2200VH
175 A - QOM2175VH
150 A - QOM2150VH
125 A - QOM2125VH
100 A - QOM2100VH

For 300 and 400 A max devices
If the service disconnect installed is a Q-frame, the below amperages may be used (SEE CURRENT DIGEST FOR COMPLETE CATALOG NUMBERS OF BREAKERS)
Prefix QBL at 10k A SCCR - From 70 - 200 A
Prefix QDL at 25k A SCCR - From 70 - 200 A
Prefix QGL at 65k A SCCR - From 70 - 200 A
Prefix QJL at 100k A SCCR - From 70 - 200 A
