Resolution:
The QO Circuit Breaker Enclosures are Marked on the wiring diagram label "Suitable for use as Service Equipment", However, Square D does NOT offer any Line Side Barrier Kits to meet the NEC. If the Line Side Barrier kit is required by local code authority, the device should NOT be used for Service Equipment. Consider using the enclosed PowerPact
Q-Frame breaker enclosures.
NOTE: The carton Label for the QO Enclosures, that is located on the outside of the carton for the devices states
"Non-Service Entrance Device", So customers should see and read this label before obtaining the device for use in Service Entrance Applications. See below a visual of the carton label wording.
