Does the EZM main device used in an EZM line up disconnect all the power to the EZM meter branch devices connected in that line up?
Issue:
Product Design Features

Product Line:
EZM Metering

Resolution:
Yes. The EZM main device (either a fusible switch or main circuit breaker), does control the power to all of the EZM meter branch devices in the same line up (or that are connected to that EZM main device).

NOTE: The EZM main terminal boxes do NOT control the power to the EZM meter branch devices, because there is NO overcurrent device or disconnect within the EZM main terminal box. When an EZM main terminal box application is used as the EZM main, the tenant circuit breakers (no more than six are allowed in one line up) in the branch units are considered the service disconnects.
