Stainless Steel Transformer enclosures have varying characteristics
Resolution:
SquareD/Schneider Electric offers a complete line of stainless steel transformer enclosures, in #304 or #316 stainless material, and are painted standard ANSI 49. SquareD/Schneider Electric paints the enclosure as a value added offering. The paint provides an additional level of corrosion resistance and improved heat dissipation. The hardware used is the standard corrosion resistant hardware used on all SquareD/Schneider Electric Low Voltage Dry Type Distribution Transformers. If the customer desires stainless steel hardware, that must be provided by the installer.
