Applies to all Low Voltage Transformers by SquareD/Schneider Electric
Cause:
In most Transformer installations, the core assembly should be at ground potential
Resolution:
Ventilated Transformers have the metal core physically (hence electrically) connected to the metal enclosure using an aluminum strap.
When the enclosure is then grounded to building ground per NEC and safety standards, the core is then also at ground potential.
