When is it recommended to have external temperature control for the storage of Panelboards?
Issue:
Ambient temperature ranges suggested for the storage of Panelboards

Product Line:
Panelboards

Environment:
Storage

Cause:
Condensation / Overheating

Resolution:
The Panelboards should be stored in an ambient temperature of 10 - 40 DEG Celsius, or 50 - 104 DEG Fahrenheit.

Consequently any temperature below 10 DEG C/50 DEG F will dictate the need for external/ internal heating , ie. strip heaters with Thermostat.
Condensation can result and cause damage to the electrical carrying parts of the interior if this is not done.

Any temperature above 40 DEG C/104 DEG F,  would require the equipment to be placed into a temperature controlled space that will ensure the ambient temperature does not exceed this temperature limit.
