What is required when changing the webserver password?
Product line:
Altivar 6xx and 9xx Process Drives
Environment:
All version V1.5 or greater
Resolution:
Starting with V1.5 or greater, Admin/Admin is not the default login/password. Each password is unique to the specific drive.
The new password must be:
- A total of eight characters
- At least one upper-case letter
- At least one lower-case letter
- At least one special character (for example, @, #, $)
- No blank characters
NOTE: After five unsuccessful login attempts, the access must be reactivated by the administrator.
Schneider Electric recommends to:
- Modify the password every 90 days
- Use a dedicated password (not related to your personal password)
NOTE: No responsibility is assumed by Schneider Electric for any consequences if anyone hacks your
product password and if you use the same password for personal usage.
