How can we help you today?
Can the current 1200A rated I-Line sub-feed lug kit, S33930, be retrofitted into an HCWMU interior as a replacement for the now obsolete SL1200?
Issue:
Repair parts application

Product Line:
Panelboards

Environment:
UL 67, UL 50, CSA C22.2 No.'s 29 & 94-1989, NEMA PB1, NFPA 70 Art. 408, Federal Specification W-P-115C Type 1 Class 1 , 2000 IBC, 1995 NBCC

Cause:
The SL1200 sub-feed lug kit was applied as the main lugs on an HCWMU panelboard.  It may be necessary to replace the main lugs of an existing obsolete HCWMU I-Line panelboard, but the older literature makes no mention of the currently available components which may be used, and the older components mentioned are obsolete and no longer available.

Resolution:
Yes, S33930 may be installed in an HCWMU I-Line panelboard.  It requires the same mounting inches as the obsolete SL1200, 15 inches.  It has the same termination provisions, qty (4) #3/0 - 600kcmil.
