ATV600 or ATV900 drives if used on a corner grounded or resistance ground (IT) system may trip on DC Bus Overvoltage fault.
This is due to the design of the internal EMC filter.
When installed on this type of system the EMC filter should be disconnected.
Refer to the installation manual for your specific part number drive for changes to be made to the EMC filter connection when used on an IT or Corner Grounded system.
The method to disconnect varies by part number so please refer to the installation manual for specific instructions for your model number.
NOTE: if the drive powers on without the error, but then trips when attempting to run, check the motor for phase to phase or phase to ground issues.
