What is the difference between ACC and tLS when configuring ATS22 soft starter?

Article available in these languages: Spanish

Issue:
Distinction between ACC and tLS parameters on ATS22.

Resolution:
ACC [acceleration] = time to ramp from 0 to 60hz when a run command is given. The full inrush of the motor has to drop at the end of the ACC Ramp, before the motor is dropped to the shorting contactor. Whereas tLS [Max Start Time] is time to ramp from 0 until the motor is dropped to the internal shorting contactor, thus has to be longer than ACC.
