Cause
Are ION meters easily susceptible to being infected by malicious code? Is there a malicious code detection feature built into ION devices?

Resolution
ION meters do not have malicious code prevent methods, but it will not execute anything that comes into the port. If malicious code came into the port, it would be ignored and would not be executed. Additionally, the ION meters are not capable of executing code. They simply check that the packet is a valid ION packet and if not then it will be discarded.
